A Unique Idea To Make A Living Selling On Craigslist

Today, I want to share an idea with you how you can possibly earn a living selling on Craigslist if you are willing to work hard. Let’s face it, the economy is in shambles and there are a lot of people searching for any possible way to earn a paycheck. There is a lot of hidden wealth on Craigslist if you are willing to explore with an open mind and carve out a small niche for yourself.

A lot of people sell stuff and earn a nice little return. I’m absolutely positive that some people go to yard sales and pick stuff up for dirt cheap and turn around and list it on Craigslist. That’s one way to make a living selling on Craigslist. I don’t really subscribe to that method. I prefer to sell a service on Craigslist and build up a list of actual clients that pay me for my skills. Long term money is better built on clients who are willing to pay you each and every month, over and over. A Craigslist business that you build steady over time will give you the biggest return for your effort.

The Craigslist website is available to almost every local community in the USA. It’s a fantastic resource for you to market yourself and your goods. If you have any particular skills, you should take out an ad and give Craigslist marketing a try. I recommend that you take your time to write good copy and try to post some good graphics or images to your ad. If you can give examples of your work, I would recommend that also. If you build websites, post a link on your Craigslist ad that points to websites you have built for other clients. Keep in ind that these are possible clients who you have never met. Try to build trust and confidence with your ad. Be consistent in your time frame for posting ads on Craigslist. You may not receive an immediate response to your ad so be persistent. Advertise on Craigslist slow and steady and the clients will come, I promise.

I currently have a very steady client who found my ad on Craigslist. I work from home for this client and every month, he sends me a check. It’s a great relationship and to think it all began with my ad on Craigslist. We initially met over a coffee and we both liked each other. He hired me on the spot to do some website work for him. I was able to show him my work on the laptop while we drank our coffee. That one free add I placed now helps me pay my monthly bills. It’s time that you examined the skills you possess that you could market to others. You certainly have an idea that can help you make a living.

  1. In Greek Mythology we find that the heroes’ adventures throughout their lives are are influenced by the gods in similar and contrasting ways. Unfortunately for Hercules it begins with no generous intent from Hera, which evidently is no fault from him. In his case, Hera is undoubtedly the biggest compelling force driving his actions. She hated him for being Zeus’ son and it’s not surprising that she sought every opportunity to put obstacles in his path and not kill him directly, because for better or worse, we see the same thing happen in Atalanta and Perseus. In Hercules, Hera sent madness upon him making him kill his own family; In Perseus, Zeus, who’d done little for his son, had it that him and his mother would be found and rescued from the chest they were trapped in; and in Atalanta, Aphrodite granted Melanion three wondrous apples to subdue Atalanta into marrying him. In addition to similarities significant contrasts also appear in Hercules vs. the other heroes. For example, Hercules doesn’t receive any help out of good will from the gods but rather has to ask for help, on the flip side, Perseus was even personally told by the Selli, who lived in the land of the Oak Trees, that he was under the protection of the gods.
