The money that you make on CashCrate depends on how you work the system. You can make cash on the site in several ways. One way you can earn cash is by completing surveys. You can earn between $.50 and $.80 just by answering a few questions. Another way you can earn cash on CashCrate is by completing the offers that they suggest. The offers pay anywhere from a nickel to $30 or more. If those two options do not sound good to you, you can still make money by referring other people to the site. They pay up 20 percent of what your referrals make, and they give you a $3 bonus after your referral earns $10 for the first time.

How to Get Started on CashCrate
Getting started is pretty straightforward. I’ll lead you through a few basic details of getting setup and registered:
Signing up is your first requirement. They are offering new sign-ups a $1.00 bonus as an incentive to sign up. On the registration form you will be asked some questions about yourself, your income, your family, and a few other things. How you answer these questions creates your profile and determines the type of surveys they believe would be best for you.
After jotting down all your details and clicking on the ‘Join Now’ button you’ll be sent a confirmation email with a link to click on confirming it was you who signed up. Then you are ready to go and can begin answering surveys.
When you login you’ll be shown what offers they have for you. Keep in mind that these surveys are never going to make you rich, but they can be a nice little extra income for something so easy to do.
When it comes to being paid, you’ll have to reach their minimum amount of $20.00 before you can request a payout. You can have them send you a check that is processed by the 20th of the month after the month your earned it in. That means if you earn $250 in June and request your payout, the check will come in mid-July.
In June of 2012 they announced they were going to start offering PayPal payments to their members. This option is only available to ‘Silver+’ members (means you’ve cashed at least one of their checks).
When Do They Pay? How Do They Pay?
You have to earn a certain amount of money on the site before you can receive a payment. Fortunately, the threshold is only $20. You can get your money on the 21st of the month for cash that you made the previous month. They process their payments on the 15th.
Bronze members can request their funds on the 1st of the month, and the company may oblige.
How Do CashCrate Points Work?
Points work the same way cash works. You earn points by playing games and completing offers, and then you use your points to get prizes like cameras and gaming consoles.

Tips:
Take the highest paying surveys. The pay for surveys varies, so trying to select the ones that pay the most only makes good sense.
You’ll also find that there will be times when you take a very short survey and receive a nice payout. Then you also have times when you sit through an hour-long survey with little reward. It all comes out in the wash.
